Florida Waits To See How Much 'Stimulus' It Can Expect From Stimulus Package

February 17, 2009 As President Barack Obama signs the economic stimulus bill today, Florida Governor Charlie Crist is still counting on the state receiving up to $12 billion of the $787 billion package over the next three years. That's despite a compromise measure that trimmed tens of billions of dollars from the earlier House and Senate versions. 90.7's David Pitman got in touch with State Representative Dean Cannon, a Republican from Winter Park, and asked him if anyone really knows right now how much Florida stands to gain.
